Try it
This page uses a stand-in for Termly so the bar can be tried without a Termly account. "Start over" clears every choice. "Simulate a new visit" keeps your choice but starts a new session, which is when a visitor who declined is asked again.

What happens
- Where the law calls for it, Termly shows the bar and holds back tracking until the visitor chooses. Everywhere else, the site works as usual.
- Three small tabs keep the bar slim: Why this? shows the visitor's state or country, its outline and the law that applies there; What's collected and If you decline answer the next two questions.
- Accept saves a first-party cookie,
trpl_cookie_consent, with the date of acceptance. Termly keeps the official consent record. - Decline brings up a note that some features may be less personal or may not load.
- A visitor who declined is asked again at the start of each new visit.
Install
trlibrary.com loads Termly and CookieBar through Google Tag Manager: Termly's template tag and a small CookieBar loader tag, both on the Consent Initialization trigger. The steps, the loader tag and the legal review list are in the CookieBar repository.
